In the past years we have seen lots of new companies trying to establish them selves in the new EV platform (Eg Rivian). Darko is one of those who are try to achieve massive goals from the starting it’s self. A SuperEV with a outstanding performance and a massive price tag.
Unveiled at Monterey Car Week, Drako Motors showed off what it says is the first production version of the GTE. The startup pulled no punches in how it described the car, either. The GTE is a “four passenger ultra luxury supercar” with “cornering precision unlike any other supercar on the road today,” Drako Motors says. It achieves this thanks to a quad-motor setup, with an electric motor at each wheel, and torque vectoring that’s driven by “industry leading” algorithms.
Drako Motors doesn’t have a legion of automotive talent like some of its peers, and it was founded by two entrepreneurs with backgrounds in technology. But it’s been working towards the GTE for years, having tested an early version of the car at the Nürburgring in 2015 . Drako Motors is also leveraging the vast auto industry to bring the GTE to life, from sourcing high-end components like Brembo brakes and and Öhlins suspension, to building the car on the chassis of the original Karma, the ill-fated hybrid sports car from failed automotive startup Fisker Automotive

In all, Drako Motors promises the GTE will have a top speed of 206 miles per hour. The car will also be able to last in high-performance situations, Drako Motors says, thanks to an “internal massively-parallel cooling architecture” that surrounds each individual battery cell and helps quickly dissipate heat.

The GTE is slated to go into production later this year, and deliveries will start in 2020 for whoever can pony up $1.25 million. Considering most other EV startups run into the hurdle of trying to make lots of cars for relatively affordable price tags, building a small number of really expensive cars may be a smoother route to take. But if Drako Motors runs into trouble on the way to those first shipments, it certainly wouldn’t be the first EV startup to do so as experienced with the Faraday Future

Porsche’s top launch, it’s first electric in India as well

As we all know that EV is the future and combination cars supremacy is no longer helpful in the long run. All car companies have to come out of their comfort zone and have to start again in the EV platform to survive the future run. Hence Taycan will be the first all electric car to be offered by the company in association with Stuttgart.

Detailed technical specifications haven’t been revealed yet, but it is expected to be powered by two electric motors good for 600PS. Porsche also claims that the Taycan will accelerate from standstill to 100 kmph in under 3.5 seconds while giving a range of around 500 km(NEDC). The Germans claiming that it will have handling dynamics like the 911 is a bit too optimistic, but expect it to have the go to back all the show. Also note that Porsche is aiming at a sub-8:00 lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with the Taycan. Porsche is also working on an 800 volt fast-charging setup that’ll give it around 100km of range in 4 minutes.

The Taycan is underpinned by new J1 platform and takes inspiration from mission E concept.
Porsche is aiming at only 20,000 units of the Taycan for the initial year and more body styles like the wagon/crossover will follow later. The Porsche Taycan will be globally revealed in September at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales set to begin in December.

Ford teases all electric F-150 pick up truck by pulling a million pound train .

It plans to start selling hybrid versions in 2020 and as a result the video of this already successful pick up towing 10 double decker trains will help the company grow with it’s electric versions as well.
The electric prototype is seen pulling 10 double-decker rail cars over 1,000 feet. It does it once when the rail cars are empty and a second time with them loaded with 42 regular, gas-burning F-150s. The latter stunt puts the entire load at 1.25 million pounds, according to Linda Zhang, chief engineer on the electric truck project. An all-male retinue of fluorescent vest wearing truck owners are brought in to gawk and shout “no way” at the battery-powered F-150’s feats of strength — because apparently there were no women F-150 owners to be found.

It’s a nifty stunt meant to allay the concerns of the truck-driving public that electric can be “Built Ford Tough” too. Ford has a lot riding on the electric F-150, which will drop around the same time as the company’s forthcoming battery-powered Mustang-inspired crossover. The company has said it will spend $11.5 billion to produce over a dozen electrified models (which includes EVs and hyrbids) by 2022.

Ford recently announced it was teaming up with aVolkswagen on electric and autonomous vehicles. VW is investing $2.6 billion on Ford’s AV effort, and Ford will gain access to the German giant’s electric vehicle MEB platform, which the Blue Oval says it will use to design and build at least one high-volume fully electric vehicle in Europe starting in 2023.

The automaker aims to deliver more than 600,000 European vehicles using the MEB architecture over six years, with a second all-new Ford model for European customers under discussion.

Also previously, Ford said it would invest $500 million investment in EV startup Rivian, and it will build an electric vehicle using Rivian’s tech. The new vehicle won’t affect the electric F-150 and Mustang-inspired crossover, though.

The 7 series
BMW has launched the facelifted 7 Series in India with prices starting at Rs 1.22 crores (All-India ex-showroom). There are three diesel powered versions and three petrol powered versions with the latter getting in a plugin hybrid model. There are multiple colour options and three trim packages DPE, DPE signature and M Sport.


This facelifted BMW 7 Series was unveiled late last year and is a mid-life update for the German automaker’s flagship sedan. Highlights of this mid-life update comprise new bumpers, laser headlamps and a massive kidney grille. Inside, there’s a host of new trim options along with BMW’s latest iDrive system. As standard, every version gets multi-zone climate control, leather upholstery, electric seats with cold and hot massage function and a digital instrument cluster.
The petrol engine on offer is the 3.0-litre inline-6 producing 322bhp/450Nm with an eight-speed automatic sending powering to the rear wheels. The top-of-the-line M760Li gets a 600bhp 6.6-litre V12 with all-wheel drive as standard.

The 44.5 kWh battery gives the eZS a range of upto 262km on a single charge on city-highway range . The city range alone goes up to 371km. The battery pack can be charged up to 80 per cent in 40 minutes when plugged into a 50 kW fast charger. A 7kW wall-box charger will extend the charging time to 6 hours. MG UK will offer a 7-year / 80,000-mile warranty on its SUV as well as its lithium-iron battery

However, MG is providing a great offer for its first 1,000 customers, who stand to get a discounted price of 21,495 pounds (Rs 18.49 lakh) and 23,495 pounds (Rs20.20 lakh) on the two variants respectively.

The eZS will be launched in India on December 2019 and is expected to have a price tag of Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom pan India). Once launched it will go up against the recently launched Hyundai Kona Electric in the Indian market.

Cars 24 has shuttered many outlets in Delhi according to landlords the company terminated the rental payment before the agreement had eneded.

Ather Energy is now in Chennai

As of now Ather has 10 charging points in Chennai , but the company is planning to expand it’s charging infrastructure in the near future . This program let’s customers lease the Ather 340 and the 450 for RE 2,274 and 2,517 per month respectively

While lower spec Ather 340 will cost you somewhere around Rs 1.19 lac where as the top of the line model 450 variant will cost you Rs 1.31 lac .
